One of the funnest traditions during King's Day is definitely visiting a vrijmarkt. In Breda and the surrounding area, there are various markets every year. Flea market Park Valkenberg

The largest flea market in Breda takes place in Park Valkenberg and runs from 11:00 to 17:00. But if you want to secure a good spot, it's advisable to arrive a few hours earlier.
This market is specially organized for children. Here, they can sell their old toys, books, and clothes to earn a little pocket money. Commercial traders are not welcome. As a child or family, you're allowed to lay down a blanket for free to sell your items.

Flea Market Stek

The Havenkwartier transforms on 27 April into a long flea market: from STEK to Belcrum Beach and all the way through to Pier15.

Flea Market at Heksenwiel shopping centre

In the Haagse Beemden neighborhood, there is a large flea market at the Heksenwiel shopping center. If you would like to participate yourself, you can register at De Baronie Tweewielers.

Flea Market Ulvenhout

At the Pekhoeve in Ulvenhout, you will find a children's rummage market during King's Day. Participation and admission are free. This free market runs from 10:00 to 13:00. In addition to the rummage market, various other activities for children take place at the Pekhoeve. There is a Jeu de Boules tournament, you can take part in the orange lottery, and there is a prize ceremony for the best-decorated bike.
