More about the KMA
The KMA is one of the seven institutes of the Netherlands Defence Academy. The NLDA educates and trains the (military) leaders of today and tomorrow, focusing on officer training, scientific research, language, leadership, and military history.
Besides all the educational tasks that the NLDA has, it also performs a number of ceremonial duties, one of which is the Flag Parade. This forms part of their professional training to become officers in the Dutch Armed Forces. With the Flag Parade, the KMA demonstrates its connection to the Royal House and the city of Breda.
