About the film
Yesterday tells the story of Jack Malik, a struggling musician whose career just won't take off. After a mysterious global blackout, he is surprised to discover that he is the only person on earth who still remembers The Beatles. 

When he starts playing their legendary songs as if they were his own, his life changes completely and he unexpectedly becomes a global star. This feel-good film by Danny Boyle combines humour, romance, and iconic music in an original story. Featuring Himesh Patel and Ed Sheeran.
