Children's Wandering Books aims to encourage children to read books in their free time because it is important for development, but also because it is fun and relaxing. Through these Stations and other mini-libraries, all children have the opportunity to take fun books home and read them. Afterwards, you leave the book to wander again so that other children can read it too.

Wandering books belong to all children! Then hop on your bike with your child for a fun route along mini-libraries. Bring a book from home and exchange it for the most exciting book you encounter along the way. That will be an afternoon full of fun! You can start the bike route at any of the desired mini-libraries.

Vincent van Gogh was one of the greatest painters of the nineteenth century and continues to inspire to this day. Vincent was born in Zundert, lived in Etten-Leur, and worked from Nuenen to the French town of Arles.

Breda also has a special connection with Van Gogh and his family. Many of his relatives were from Breda, and Vincent spent a considerable part of his youth with them. As a result, Breda was a significant source of inspiration for his work and further development. The city therefore houses many interesting places that a Van Gogh enthusiast absolutely must not miss!

Het Ulvenhoutse Bos used to be owned by the lords of Breda and was already being used for hunting and wood production in the 15th century. The Sint-Annabos was created by order of the Orange-Nassaus. So, it is an area with a lot of history. Het Ulvenhoutse Bos is owned by Staatsbosbeheer (the state forest management organisation), but it is freely accessible to hikers and other outdoor enthusiasts! Put on your walking shoes or grab your bike to explore the nature surrounding Ulvenhout.
