The home base of the Breda Guardians is The Hive, located in the Frontier building of Breda University of Applied Sciences. Everyone who works, lives or studies in Breda is welcome to join the team. Because the Breda Guardians are based at BUas, they work closely with the programmes within this school. These include the minor “Esports Event and Media Management” and the esports specialisation of the Leisure and Events course. Also, the Rooi Pannen Breda has often been found in The Hive since 2024. Since that year, they also offer a course in e-leisure & events for students.
Breda Guardians participate in the Dutch Student League and are active in Valorant, Counter Strike 2, Rocket League and League of Legends. Outside of competitive gaming, they often organise LAN parties and small tournaments. Everyone is always welcome to play a game of Super Smash Bros or FIFA during their break or after their last lesson.
Dynasty has been active in esports since 2007. The association focuses on passionate gaming in a responsible manner. The central theme here is personal growth through gaming. They participate in various esports tournaments within the Benelux, including Benelux Masters, Elite Series Spring, and Dutch League Spring. In total, Dynasty's esports teams have won 19 trophies and nearly €20,000 in prize money!
Currently, Dynasty is active in League of Legends, Valorant, and Rocket League. The teams competing in these tournaments train 3 to 4 times a week. Players not participating in competitions train as often as they wish.
Dynasty works closely with Breda Game City and Gezond Gamen. They also organise the Breda Esports Conference, which features various speakers from the esports industry and hosts multiple roundtables.
NAC Breda has been promoted to the Eredivisie in 2024. This also brings the esports side of Dutch football. Shariff van der Stee, Daan Troost, and Sven Kamphof represent the NAC esports team. The eDivisie consists of 17 matchdays, after which the top eight teams compete against each other in a knockout tournament. The matches are available to watch via Twitch, Youtube, and ESPN.
ChampZ is the esports club for secondary school pupils. This team revolves around gaming, friendship, and improving your skills. Pupils can enhance their abilities here in Apex Legends, Rocket League, Valorant, and League of Legends. But Mario Kart as a team-building activity is also not missing here. Every Wednesday evening, pupils come together to play.
