Bredata is the Municipality of Breda’s vision for the city’s digitalisation. The guiding principle is that digital developments contribute to the quality of life in Breda, while keeping the human perspective at the forefront.

Bredata focuses, among other things, on a strong digital infrastructure, innovative applications, digital skills and awareness, and the responsible handling of data. It also considers opportunities for residents, businesses, education and visitors, as well as themes such as accessibility, inclusion, privacy and ethics.

In this way, Breda is working towards a city where digital possibilities are used to address societal challenges and create new opportunities, without losing sight of what technology means for the people affected by it.
