Bike Route Breda 25 km - Explore Breda by Bike

Cycle in the footsteps of perhaps the most famous families in West Brabant history: the Nassaus and the Van Goghs. Discover the historic city centre of Breda, the wooded surroundings, and the extensive farmlands between Breda and Zundert.

With this route, you run from Wilhelminapark towards Bavel and Ulvenhout and then back through the Markdal. It's a nice way to explore the Breda region! Of course, you can start the route at any point you wish.

We gathered tips from locals for cool running routes in Breda and the surrounding area. Ready for a new loop? With this route, you'll run along the canals towards the Mark and then take a loop through the Mastbos. The route ends at the Ginnekenmarkt. Perfect for a concluding cappuccino!

Running route from Valkenbergpark to Ginnekenmarkt

Hi! I'm Lisa and I would love to share my favourite walk! After a workday, I find it wonderful to take a walk after dinner. This walk is enjoyable in both summer and winter! It's just a slightly different route than the usual one. Stroll through the surroundings of the Zandberg neighbourhood in the south of Breda. Along the way, you'll pass through streets lined with beautiful, stately mansions, charming shopping streets, and of course, greenery.

I live on Baronielaan, so I start my walk there. You can, of course, start at any point along the route!

This route is approximately 106 kilometres long and takes you from Breda to the fortified town of Heusden.

Cycling route Around Heusden - Marten

A lovely loop where you cross the water multiple times. You cycle through a beautiful part of Biesbosch and take the ferry to Werkendam. Rondje Pontje, for riders who are not afraid of a bit of crosswind on the open plains.

Cycling route - Mark

On 29th October 1944, the Second World War came to an end for Breda. On 5th May, we celebrate the freedom of the whole of the Netherlands. We have created a route of about 2.5 km along the places in the centre of Breda that commemorate the war, especially our Polish liberators.

Liberation walk through Breda

A 27 km bike route that connects the Royal Roots highlights with each other. In Breda and its surroundings, you will find many traces of the Nassau family. Discover impressive buildings, ancient forests, unique locations and contemporary artworks. This route takes you along mostly historic sites.
