Saturday 25 October 2025<ul><li>14:30 hrs: Floral tribute at the memorial plaque on the Parade, near Botanique. This is dedicated to the soldiers of the 1st Polish Armoured Division in Breda. The floral tribute is organised in collaboration with the committee of the Polish parish in Breda and pastor Jozef Okonek.</li><li>19:00 hrs: Concert by the Polish Military Orchestra from Zagan in the Mariakerk, Mariaplein 1. On 29 October 1944, World War II ended in Breda. The city was liberated by the 1st Polish Armoured Division under General Stanislaw Maczek. The liberation is commemorated annually.
