Weval & Kroon - MEZZ - TURF Live

During TURF, two exceptional electronic acts come together at MEZZ. Amsterdam duo Weval and experimental act KROON will take you into their own musical worlds.

Weval

Amsterdam electronic duo Weval are known for their melancholic, cinematic soundscapes and warm analogue sound. With performances at major festivals such as Primavera and Pukkelpop, they have made an international name for themselves.

With their latest album CHOROPHOBIA, they are taking a new direction. The music is more danceable, rawer and more playful than ever. Expect an energetic mix of acid, funk, bass and psychedelic pop, with surprising tempo changes and infectious grooves.

KROON

KROON brings a dark, experimental mix of electronic music and heavy bass to the dancefloor. The act was formed in 2023 when producers Hajo Krijger and Kypski met at Best Kept Secret. Together with producer Kubus, they formed KROON.

Following Hajo’s death, Kubus and Kypski continued their musical collaboration. With a distinctive sound full of raw energy, unexpected sounds and powerful basslines, KROON shows just how versatile electronic music can be.

On Friday 27 November, experience both acts during TURF in the Main Hall at MEZZ.
