Phileas Fogg
Phileas Fogg Student Association is a mixed, traditional student association. Founded in 1966, making it one of the oldest student associations in Breda. The association is not affiliated with a university or study programme and is open to anyone studying in Breda. The name Phileas Fogg is derived from the main character in Jules Verne's famous book "Around the World in Eighty Days".
Maximus Student Association positions itself as the student association of Breda, focusing mainly on students from the Avans University of Applied Sciences and Breda University of Applied Sciences (BUas). C.R.&Z.V. Dudok van Heel originally started as a cadet rowing club for the navy, but in recent years has also been open to civilian students. The association offers a wide range of rowing programmes, from competitive to racing rowing.

Studententennis Breda is the only tennis club for students in Breda. Both experienced and inexperienced tennis players are welcome. The association is a great and sporty addition to your student life.

Student Sports Association BRESS with its wide range of 60 sports is the sports association for university of applied sciences students in Breda. Besides sports, there is also the opportunity to socialise, study, or have a bite to eat and a drink. The association also organises a lot of other activities, such as wine tastings, pub quizzes, and salsa evenings. The slogan of BRESS is 'More than just sports'.
