Carnival parades in Breda

  • Carnaval
  • Free entry
The parade is the highlight of carnival in every town or village. With blood, sweat, and tears, carnival celebrators work all year on floats, ideas, and outfits to steal the show during the parade. And to win a prize. Check out the parades in the municipality of Breda.

Great Parade of ut Kielegat

On Carnival Monday, the Grand Parade winds through the city centre. Every year it is the highlight of carnival, attracting visitors from far beyond Breda to come and watch.
The parade starts at 12.11 at the Haagdijk and moves from there through the city centre.

The after-party with prize-giving ceremony will be held on a pontoon at the Harbour.

Parade Boemeldonck (Prinsenbeek)

The parade of Boemeldonck is known for its large floats, also referred to as 'castles on wheels'. They parade through Prinsenbeek on carnival Sunday. There is a grandstand at Velsgoed for which you can reserve tickets in advance.
