Markdal South - Groene Camino location
Het Markdal-Zuid, also known as the Bovenmark, is part of the Nature Network Brabant.
On behalf of the Province, 36.5 hectares of new nature have been created here. Through nature development in and around the water, the water becomes healthier for fish and insects. In the future, otters may be tempted to swim here because they will then find enough food and resting places.
Stay on the paths especially, as nature is fragile!
Groene Camino
This location is part of the Groene Camino, a nature and cultural-historical walk through Breda. The walk is 26 km long and runs from the Heilige Eik in Den Hout through the centre of Breda to the Sint Jacobskapel in Galder.
