On Biesdonkweg, there are three playful bronze roses, created by artist Charles Lous.
This Breda artist studied at St. Joost Art Academy. The roses symbolize fertility.
He drew his inspiration during his wife's pregnancy. The sculptures exude a joyful dynamism. Beneath the adjacent rose arches, there are benches. A lovely spot to enjoy the view for a while.
Groene Camino
This location is part of the Groene Camino, a nature and cultural-historical walk through Breda. The walk is 26 km long and runs from the Heilige Eik in Den Hout through the centre of Breda to the Sint Jacobskapel in Galder.
