Theatre performance: Future Citizens

Future Citizens is a theatre performance by NDC with live music, where you get to meet new Dutch people and have the chance to make a difference for them. On Tuesday 5 November, young people from the International Switch Class (ISK) of CURIO will be on stage at Podium Bloos in Breda.

Many of these young people have fled and are currently living in an asylum seekers' centre. Future Citizens helps them to articulate their dreams and share them with the audience. During the performance, you will also hear the impressive, true story of Alias Camara from Guinea. His search for a mother led him to the Netherlands. Nowadays, Alias works as a caretaker at an primary school, but for the children, he is much more: a musician, dance teacher, and playmate.
