Sunset Cinema: Green Book @Bloos

The successful outdoor cinema in Breda is back. This summer, Sunset Cinema transforms ten special locations into open-air cinemas once again. On Thursday, 28 August, you'll be seated outdoors in the raw setting of the cultural venue Podium Bloos in the Havenkwartier of Breda for the tragicomedy and award-winning Green Book.

About the film:

When black pianist Don Shirley goes on tour in 1962 through the American South, where strict segregation laws still apply, he hires white doorman Tony Lip (Viggo Mortensen) as his driver and bodyguard.

The two opposites are forced to work together and gradually grow closer to each other.

Based on the real-life book of the same name written by Tony Lip’s son Nick Vallelonga. The feel-good film won Oscars for Best Picture, Best Screenplay, and Best Supporting Actor (Mahershala Ali).
