<p>You shouldn't take Snerttocht too literally; it is actually a delightful winter hike of 40 kilometres where lunch is complemented by a warm bowl of pea soup and rye bread with bacon.</p><p>There's no need to register in advance. You can simply show up at the departure point.</p>
