Goodbye Cat is an emotional and musical performance about meeting and parting, about small sad moments and big adventures. From saying goodbye to the pavement tile you just stood on, to burying a drone fly in a matchbox.

Tee, Ee, and their new neighbour Jee go on the hunt together. Tee is worried a thousand times over, Ee believes everything will turn out fine. Because let’s face it: have you ever seen a cat that takes leave properly?

Fortunately, Jee knows everything about saying goodbye. Recently, he saw off the whole neighbourhood. According to him, parting does not mean you will never see each other again.

Goodbye Cat is a new production by director Noël Fischer, written by poet Yentl van Stokkum, with live music by Jelle Hoekstra. Thanks to the presence of a Dutch Sign Language interpreter, the performance is extra accessible for people with a hearing impairment.
