In 2025, the second edition of the Grote Prijs Breda will take place. Breda is full of talent and therefore it is time to award a prize! This talent deserves recognition and the opportunity to further develop. On 23 November, the grand finale will be held at MEZZ. There are two different categories:<ul><li>Bands &amp; singer-songwriters</li><li>&nbsp;Hiphop</li></ul>During the auditions, the finalists are selected by the panel of judges. The three finalists in the bands &amp; singer-songwriters category and the six finalists in the hiphop category will compete in the final for the title ‘Grote Prijs Breda 2025’. A prize package has been assembled for each category, including performances in and around Breda such as at Breda Barst, a cash prize of €1000, a fantastic award, two free rehearsals at Phoenix, two free rehearsals at Sound Dog, and professional guidance for six months.De finalists are:&nbsp;Bands/Singer-songwriters<ul><li>Grainbait: Een krachtig rocktrio dat een moderne mix brengt van (hard)rock, grungeen blues.</li><li>Bon Sirah: Een 23-jarige singer-songwriter met moderne britpop en herkenbare,optimistische popsongs.</li><li>Screaming Bananas: Een energieke band met dansbare en toegankelijke rockinvloeden.Finalisten&nbsp;</li></ul>Hiphop<ul><li>Gibby: Bredase artiest en producer met inspirerende teksten en experimentelebeats.- Eesbarkie7: Brengt een mix van hiphop en grime met rauwe, persoonlijke teksten.</li><li>LOT: Veelzijdige zangeres en rapper met een krachtige stem en authentieke sound.</li><li>WESS: Eerlijke en ongefilterde hiphop vol energie en gevoel.</li></ul>Grote Prijs Breda is organised in collaboration with POB, Sound Dog, Pier15, Phoenix, and Breda Barst.

Breda is bursting with talent, and we celebrate this with the second edition of the Grote Prijs Breda! Bands, singer-songwriters, and hip-hop acts compete in MEZZ for the title, great prizes, and a spot on the major Breda stages.
