Blind Walls Film Fest 2026
Visit the Blind Walls Film Fest in Breda from 4th to 8th February 2026. Discover the impact of graffiti, street art and murals!
Information
Blind Walls Film Fest is an international boundary-pushing festival for enthusiasts and creators of graffiti, street art and murals. Through an exciting and socially relevant programme featuring films, documentaries, Q&As, masterclasses and exhibitions, the stories behind these art forms become visible. How are they created? What drives the artists? How does the environment respond? BWFF offers plenty of depth and entertainment for both creators and spectators to make Breda an international hotspot for a few days each year. Additionally, you can vote for your favourite films, visit exhibitions or join guided tours.
A few highlights from the programme:
- Balomania (opening film): Spectacular documentary about a secret society of balloon artists in Brazilian favelas and their illegal, floating artworks.
- Street Art Frankey: Besides his column in Het Parool, Amsterdam artist Frank de Ruwe is the subject of a documentary about his work and life. His urban interventions transform cities and bring a smile to the faces of passers-by.
- The Art of Disobedience: Follow a bizarre manhunt that arose after Geco (one of Europe's most famous and radical graffiti bombers) was identified in 2020. Is it art or vandalism? And who actually decides?
