Mussenflat near Stedelijk Gymnasium - Groene Camino location

Breda is proud of its independent gymnasium from 1887.  The schoolyard, which used to consist solely of stones, has been transformed by a group of  students into an attractive garden. There is also a special birdhouse: a sculpture with the poem Vliegensvlucht. 
The sculpture aims to primarily serve as a nesting place for birds, bats, and insects. The so-called 'Sparrow Flat' is an inspiration for students to work on biodiversity in the city.

Groene Camino
This location is part of the Groene Camino, a nature and cultural-historical walk through Breda. The walk is 26 km long and runs from the Heilige Eik in Den Hout through the centre of Breda to the Sint Jacobskapel in Galder.
