Workshop - Take a better photo with your smartphone

Of course, the necessary theory (such as composition and lighting) will be covered, and the main functions of your smartphone will be explained. But also putting the acquired knowledge into practice is an important part of the workshop. 

You will do many exercises during this workshop, both inside and outside the classroom. Depending on the weather, the exercises will be adjusted. In good weather, you'll go on a longer photo walk in the city around a few nice photography locations (near the Nieuwe Veste location). Afterwards, you'll look at and discuss the photos taken in the classroom, a part of the learning process that is both fun and educational.

In the final part of the workshop, you'll get to know photo editing. In the digital age, photo editing is indispensable, and the possibilities are numerous. Photo editing is not just about making the image more beautiful, but you can also make the image resemble what you saw with the naked eye.

By the end of this workshop, you'll have enough skills to take beautiful / even more beautiful photos!  

Who is the workshop suitable for?
Anyone who wants to improve their mobile photography skills. Please note that this is a basic course. This workshop is not suitable for people who are already advanced in smartphone photography.  

What do you need?
In terms of hardware, you only need a smartphone; any type (iPhone, Android, Samsung, One+, Huawei, etc.) is fine. The age of your device doesn’t matter, as long as it still works well. If your battery runs out quickly, bring a power bank/external battery if you have one, along with pen and paper for notes.
