'Who is celebrating their birthday today?' at Chassé Theater

Welcome to the forest where there is always someone having a birthday. A place full of cakes, letters, presents, and music, where sometimes a big party is celebrated and other times a very small one. In this forest, we meet the animals from the stories of Toon Tellegen: squirrel, pike, bear, ant, and many others.

The animals discover budding friendships and wonder what it means to miss someone or to be moved. Sometimes they are sad, and other times very happy. With humour and lots of playfulness, Mijntje Pronk and Judith Westbroek take you from one animal-themed birthday party to another. After all, who is actually allowed to come to your party? What do you bring as a gift? And is it going to be gezellig?
