Voltage in MEZZ

Voltage, led by frontman Dave Vermeulen, brings an energetic mix of tight shuffles and southern rock with hints of the 1970s. The characteristic sound, pronounced electric guitar tones, grooving rhythm sections, and classic vocal harmonies give Voltage a unique sound, inspired by bands like Status Quo and The Rolling Stones.

Voltage’s fifth album, ‘Fortunes & Willows’, was released in April and traditionally tells its own story. The title track and opener of the album immediately sets the tone and meaning of the album. It is a life story encapsulated in a triptych: what was your upbringing, what do you take from it, and what do you pass on to your descendants.

With performances at major festivals like Paaspop and Zwarte Cross, and hits on Radio 2 with ‘The Wild Ones’ and ‘Leave It All Behind’, Voltage is an integral part of the Dutch scene.
