Voices in Type Assembly

Voices in Type Assembly will take place on 31 March 2026 at the Chassé Theatre in Breda. This international conference marks the conclusion of the project Characters: Voices in Type, which explores typography as a cultural, social, and political force. Speakers such as Tré Seals, Michael Ellsworth & Raya Leary, Mark Baker-Sanchez, Saki Mafundikwa, and Aneesh Bhoopathy will demonstrate how typography can function as a voice: rooted in context and identity, connecting communities, and enabling social change. Characters: Voices in Type is a project by Graphic Matters, in collaboration with Vocal Type and Civilisation.
