Vanishing Acts is a poetic quest by Felix Schellekens for those moments when the impermanence of life becomes palpable. Everything changes: your environment, yourself, and everything you try to hold onto slips through your fingers sooner or later. How do you learn to embrace the loneliness that comes with the realisation that nothing ever stands still?

Felix plays, sings and dances along the fault lines of existence, where reality and imagination flow into each other. His theatre debut is an intimate reflection on the inevitable disappearance, and an invitation to recognise the beauty of change.

About Felix Schellekens
Felix Schellekens cannot be confined to a single discipline. After completing his training at the Mime School in Amsterdam, he developed as an actor, singer, dancer, performer and theatre-maker. His work is characterised by a great sensitivity and playfulness, intertwined with sober, still images. Through this, he invites the audience to feel rather than think.
