There is a panel discussion, working groups and performative contributions.This event, in addition to the closing of the exhibition in Clublokaal, is a continuation of the first edition of UP IN ARMS at Pakhuis de Zwijger in Amsterdam. During the programme, the possibilities available to artists and cultural workers when confronted with institutional claims of neutrality and exposed forms of complicity will be discussed.Central to this is the question of how they can relate to state militarisation and armed resistance within their practice, and in particular, the differences between them.The panel discussion and working groups will be facilitated by the directors of Platform BK, Hilda Moucharrafieh and Arthur Kneepkens, as well as members of organisations such as Collective Refusal, Cultural Boycott Israel and Cultural Workers Unite.

To conclude the exhibition (un(h)armed), Platform BK and Clublokaal are organizing a joint program about the role of art and education within the state's militarization agenda.
