Untitled Indie Event in Poppodium Phoenix

On Saturday 18 July, it's time for the second edition of Untitled Indie Event at Poppodium Phoenix, Breda. Three fantastic independent bands from the Brabant alternative scene will take to the stage. Expect spacey sounds, melancholic (but hopeful) lyrics, and bass guitars that don't sound like bass guitars. 

NORE

NORE will crawl under your skin in a way only your best friends can. With thoughtful lyrics that come straight from the heart and a sound to get lost in, NORE takes you along through their collective world of experience. Their music is like those existential feelings that sometimes overtake you after an evening of adventure with friends: melancholic with an undercurrent of it-will-be-okay. 

Faylo 

Unreachable like a mist during the morning dew, five-piece band Faylo pulls out all the stops to feel something. Their alternative indie, accompanied by two bass guitars, gives the warm feeling of the first sunlight, but their lyrics hit like cold heavy drops on your face: saturated with emotion and philosophical conflicts, dressed with mythological stories. Venture into the wet grass and dare to feel — Faylo will take you there. 

Hazewyck 

Hazewyck is the alias of songwriter Fabian van Heesewijk. His vintage space rock is a reflection of the universe in his mind, often raising more questions than it answers. With his retro sci-fi lyrics, 90s art rock influences, and dreamy guitar sounds, he tells his story, slowly drawing you in. 

The aim is to keep UIE accessible for everyone, but Poppodium Phoenix also believes that hardworking independent bands should be fairly paid for their art. That's why Phoenix works with the ‘pay what you can’ system. You can decide how much you'd like to pay for a ticket (with a minimum of €7,50).
