TURF Pop-up

From 26 to 28 November, Breda will be all about TURF. Alongside the programme of live performances, exhibitions and club nights, you can also discover various pop-ups throughout the city. Small, special events where music, art, technology and coming together meet.

Black Out Botanica
Discover Black Out Botanica at The Green Submarine! In this special light installation by artist Mathijs van den Berg, light, recycled glass and plants come together. Be surprised by moving light patterns, unusual reflections and a green setting that makes you see things differently.

Stargate Experience
What would it be like to experience the world from a plant’s perspective? During the Stargate Experience, nature, sound and technology come together. Sensors translate the biological signals of plants into sound, creating a unique interactive soundscape. Discover the installation and immerse yourself in a sensory experience that connects people and nature.

Don't Disturb
DON’T DISTURB is a Breda collective that brings local house and hard house DJs together with their community. Following successful club nights at Hotel Nassau, the collective is moving to Café Janssen during TURF. Expect an evening of energetic beats, danceable music and the welcoming atmosphere of Breda’s club scene.

Fontys MDI
Fontys MDI will also be represented at TURF with its own pop-up. A place where young talent and creativity are given a platform within the festival.

Oogsters
Oogsters is part of TURF’s pop-up programme. Discover this initiative during the festival and get to know another side of Breda’s creative scene.

Extra Grote Prijs Breda Final
The Grote Prijs Breda gives musical talent the opportunity to showcase themselves and be heard. During TURF, an extra final provides a platform for new artists and musical discoveries.

Black Out Botanica – Vinyl Set
Black Out Botanica returns as part of the pop-up programme with a vinyl set. A musical moment for record lovers and anyone who enjoys the special atmosphere of vinyl.

Gedachtegangen Dinner
Food and creativity come together during the Gedachtegangen Dinner. A special gathering centred around sharing a meal, new perspectives and conversation.

Wine Only Rave
A rave, but with wine! During the Wine Only Rave, electronic music and the atmosphere of a wine bar come together. A surprising combination for anyone looking for a danceable and slightly different outing.

The pop-ups take place at various times and locations throughout Breda. Check TURF’s full programme for the latest times, locations and any ticket information.
