Toxic (Previously Unreleased) at Chassé Cinema

About the film:

Twin teenagers want to escape their bleak Lithuanian industrial town and become close friends at a sinister modelling school. Here, they are promised a better life, but to achieve it, they must mutilate their bodies in increasingly extreme ways. Toxic is the winner of the Golden Leopard at the Locarno Film Festival.

This film is part of the 'Previously Unreleased' series. These films were screened at prominent festivals both domestically and internationally but did not reach Dutch cinemas. Unfortunately, and therefore, this summer a special selection of films from international festivals will be shown in the auditorium of Chassé Cinema.

Chassé Cinema is collaborating with EYE Filmmuseum to present these screenings. The other films and dates are:
