What is the show about?
Arend lives in a telephone exchange. Day and night, he connects hundreds of callers with each other, and everything runs smoothly. In this jumble of buttons and cables, he feels at home; he knows the way. Mistakes are not made. No, making mistakes... Arend finds that the most terrible thing there is. He takes his work very seriously. Because what would happen if people are connected incorrectly? That would be a complete disaster. But then, one night, his own phone suddenly rings. A mysterious caller tells him that he must connect himself. But… with whom then? And why? And how? Beep… beep… beep… What now? And why did that voice sound so terribly familiar?
