<p>After the unfortunate death of his wife, the playwright Edward has completely hit rock bottom. Although he hated his wife, he continues to struggle with the question of whether he could have prevented her death. Edward has rented a room from Alex where he loses himself in alcohol and despair. One evening, when the spirit of his deceased wife Ruby appears, Edward tries to come to terms with the past. Under Ruby's "direction," the drama of their relationship and her death is replayed.</p>
