The Shining (45th Anniversary) - Chassé Cinema

This 1980 film is considered one of the best horror movies ever made. 

Jack Torrance (Jack Nicholson) takes a job as a winter caretaker at the remote Overlook Hotel in Colorado, in hopes of overcoming his writer's block. He moves there with his wife Wendy (Shelley Duvall) and his son Danny (Danny Lloyd), who is plagued by paranormal visions. But the writing doesn't progress and Danny's visions become more disturbing. Meanwhile, Jack uncovers the dark secrets of the hotel and gradually transforms into a murderous psychopath who holds his family in terror.
