The Cold Stares in MEZZ

The American Southern hard rock band The Cold Stares has travelled the world as a duo over the past ten years with an intense, explosive live show. Now, the band is ready for a new chapter and has added a third member to the line-up. 

With their most recent album ‘Voices’, the power trio blends Southern hard rock with blues and rock 'n' roll to create a modern vintage sound. The music is reminiscent of Cream and Led Zeppelin, with lyrics about love, loss, sin, redemption, hope, and regret. With the new album, which features their characteristic mix of blues, Southern, and hard rock, The Cold Stares elevate themselves to new heights. 

The album was recorded in just two days with producer/technician Mark Needham, who has previously worked with Taj Mahal, The Killers, Imagine Dragons, Walk The Moon, and Fleetwood Mac. ‘Voices’ is the most mature and eclectic album the band has released to date.
