Juliet
The Amsterdam-based Juliet has been capturing the hearts of listener pop song enthusiasts for quite some time. Juliet is the alias of musician and songwriter Julia Schellekens (29). With her authentic voice and sharp lyrics, Juliet offers a recognizable sound at the intersection of pop and cabaret. She sings about small sorrows and big thoughts. On social media, she is renowned for her hilarious 30-second songs, which garner millions of views.

Meanwhile, television viewers in the Netherlands got to know the cheerful Juliet in De Slimste Mens and radio icon Frits Spits parked his car to listen to her passionate songs. “Sometimes there are those songs that make you stop your car for a moment. Very strong lyrically. Narrative and musical. I find it very impressive. Juliet, we must remember her name,” said Frits Spits. Juliet is now embarking on her first tour with her self-titled EP ‘Uiteen’. ‘Uiteen’ is about coming from a broken family and the impact that her parents’ divorce still has on her own young adult (love)life today. The show is a powerful mix of narrative melancholic songs, anecdotes, and a healthy dose of 30-second songs, as you would expect from Juliet.

You will be served a three-course selection of delicacies: a soup to start, followed by a round of savoury treats. This will be concluded with a round of various sweet delicacies.
