SONIC LANDSCAPES concert

The summer concert of the Symphonic Collective, titled SONIC LANDSCAPES, takes the listener on a journey through different landscapes where nature, culture, and emotion are intertwined. 

In the symphonic poem The Moldau by Smetana, the river flows through the Bohemian landscape, a hunting scene, and a village celebration, ending with turbulent rapids in Prague. Debussy's Petite Suite illustrates a voyage with a gently flowing boat, along which a parade marches by, and we experience a slow and a quick dance. 

In Borodin's Second Symphony, heroes from Russian history are honored in a powerful yet playful and lyrical manner.
