SMIB in MEZZ

After years of solo projects, Ray Fuego, Nnelg, GRGY, Loopey, and Ploegendienst came together again in the studio. The result is EENDRAGHT MAECKT MAGHT, a title that hits straight to the point: the power of SMIB lies in collective energy. The album marks the celebration of their ten-year anniversary. Whereas previous projects mainly consisted of individual contributions from the members, this work sounds like a cohesive group effort. Featuring guest appearances from, among others, Chivv, Reanny, Idaly, and Ronnie Flex, various hip hop styles come together. 3voor12 described it as their most consistent project so far.

SMIB WORLDWIDE was founded in 2014 by a multidisciplinary collective from the Bijlmer. The collective spreads its lifestyle through music, fashion, events, literature, and art. The name SMIB is an inversion of BIMS, the nickname for the Bijlmer.

Brunzyn mixes hip hop, UK rap and a touch of chaos into one cohesive whole. He became known to the general public when his Summer Session at 101Barz topped the list of most-viewed YouTube videos for weeks. The energetic rapper from Vlaardingen has since joined forces with Joost Klein and is now vice president of the Albino Sports label.

He always manages to surprise his audience when performing live. He really connects with people; he's a man of the people! After releasing projects such as “B2”, “Albino Sports Vol. 1” and “Meer Dan Een Meme”, his latest single “Lastpak” was released at the end of last year. Get ready for high energy and breaking mosh pits... Brunzyn.
