Salsa in the Harbour 2025

It is an incredible closing event of the Spanjaardsgat Orkestfestival; and at the same time the largest outdoor Salsa Event on the water. Dance school ‘Salsa in Breda’ again joins forces this year with Stichting Spanjaardsgat and Spinola to introduce people to and let them enjoy a dance and music culture that is extremely connecting.

Salsa in the Harbour “We are pleased to welcome around 1500 enthusiasts this year; we hope not only to attract existing dancers, but especially also to people who want to get to know the music, the atmosphere, and the Salsa culture. Dancing is an ideal way to meet new people, but also to move and relax in a fun way,” says Vincent Wijnen Riems. Since 2016, he, together with his wife Simone Huls and the Salsa in Breda team, has been organizing this unique event on the water.

What else can you expect?

• A fantastic talented Live Band CariBueno from The Hague,
• A Salsa Show by two international top dancers Carlos Campari & Steffi de Leeuw
• The event is surrounded by food trucks and the hospitality on the pontoon is provided by SPINOLA.

In short, for everyone who wants to indulge in tropical Latin music: Salsa, Bachata, and Merengue!

New this edition is an elevated VIP deck with a view of the dance floor and the stage. The VIP deck also offers the possibility to enjoy a drink and a snack. There is again a small section with free access for those who do not wish to go onto the dance floor. The entrance is on the left next to the Spinola boat.
