For nearly a decade, Red Valley has been one of Breda’s most prominent rock bands. Now they are bringing their live show to MEZZ for the very last time and celebrating the release of their debut album Electric Love Music.

Earlier, the band already played to a sold-out MEZZ during the release of their EP A Sweet Introduction to Red Valley. Drummer Dico Bak, bassist/vocalist Jesse Schut, and guitarist/vocalist Soof Zisis draw inspiration from legends like Led Zeppelin and Jimi Hendrix. Their mission: “to revive the blues,” blended with funky rock, heavy seventies rock, and psychedelics.

Expect a show full of energy and nostalgia: a final bang to properly close the chapter of Red Valley.

Puck Hofwegen and Dylan van de Grift together form the Space Age DJ Collective: a vinyl project that emerged in spring 2023 out of love for classic disco and funk. Since then, they have played at festivals such as Oerol, Misty Fields, and Lepeltje Lepeltje, organised their own Disco Galaxy Clubtour, and spun around live shows of friendly bands such as Parbleu, Cavolo Nero, and Collignon. Outside the Netherlands, in France, Germany, and Belgium, they have also showcased their unique sound.

Their sets are an unpredictable vinyl trip full of soulful 70s and 80s disco, Italo, nu-disco & groove, complemented with forgotten gems from around the world. No two sets are ever the same: the course of the evening remains a surprise. Always on vinyl, always based on feeling.
