PROTECT ME FROM WHAT I WANT - Hyperpoetry
What happens when a soft activist, a likeable storyteller and a diva set out together to find the origins of the world? In this literary punk evening, Mees Van Rijswijk, Johannes Lievens and Marieke Ornelis return to the beginning. They watch videos about the production of black pudding, take an IKEA stool back to the Carpathians and dissect the first testament. In a mix of stories, songs and poetry, they tackle the question: where did it all go wrong?

An improvised inspection service, looking beyond the production processes of foodstuffs and other consumer products. A search for answers in conspiracy theories, myths and rumours. PROTECT ME FROM WHAT I WANT is a colourful attempt to question contemporary power structures by zooming in on the details. HYPERPOËZIE is the literary collective of Mees van Rijswijk, Marieke Ornelis and Johannes Lievens. Armed with their pens and a drum machine, they conquer your heart, your language and your imagination. The work of DRIE DAGEN FRIS is an indictment of compromise, a poetic manifesto for having fun while everything is collapsing.
