PRIMATE in MEZZ

Eight musical friends are taking the stages by storm all across the Netherlands with their infectious mix of catchy hip-hop, funky horns, and harmonious sing-alongs, backed by a virtuosic and driving live band. From Noorderslag to the Zwarte Cross and from Valkhof Festival to MadNes, wherever PRIMAAT performs, the energy radiates from the stage. In no time, you'll be swept up in the vibe and jumping along to an explosion of positive energy. After participating in Popronde, the year kicked off with a show at Eurosonic Noorderslag and the band released their debut EP ‘Roze Bril’, which they created with Ferdy van der Singel (known from, among others, Bløf). Their radio debut soon followed on stations like 3FM, KINK, and Radio 1. In addition, the band has taken the time to work on their debut album: ‘Hoe vind je zelf dat het gaat’, which is set to be released in early 2025. In this album, they explore themes of aging, with growing challenges and beautiful moments. Despite an uncertain future at times, they find support in music, family, friends, and each other.
