What can you expect?

At the live music event of Prikkeldraad during Halloween, a lot awaits you in terms of 'horror music'. During this music event, three bands (Ter ziele, Lightless, and Oltas) will showcase their talents through the sounds and tones of 'doom metal'.

Ter Ziele

With a mix of heavy desolate riffs, emotional vocals, and fragile melodic lines, Ter Ziele adds a unique twist to the doom metal genre. By pushing the boundaries of doom metal and letting post- and black metal seep through, they create a heavy, atmospheric sludge/doom.

Lightless
A sensational blend of doom and black metal from 2021. The German band Lightless plays the kind of blackened doom metal where the tonal qualities seamlessly flow from hard and rough to heart-wrenching and slow. By addressing all negative developments in the world through their music, Lightless creates a melancholic atmosphere that leaves you speechless.

Oltas
Doom metal but not with a message of death and despair. That’s the best way to describe the unorthodox doom metal of Oltas. This quintet from Friesland reflects this well in their music. By alternating the slow and dark elements of doom metal with occasional fast and powerful bright spots, they create a unique sound that you don't hear everywhere.
