Preliminary Round Bands/singer-songwriters Grote Prijs Breda @ Pier15
On Thursday 17 September, the first preliminary round in the ‘Bands & Singer-songwriters’ category of the Grote Prijs Breda will take place at Pier15! Three acts will compete for a place in the coveted final on Sunday 15 November at MEZZ.

Breda is full of talent, and it’s time to present an award. This talent deserves recognition. That’s why we’re joining forces with POB Breda, Poppodium Phoenix, Pier15, Sound Dog and Breda Barst to give Breda’s talent the platform it deserves.
During the three preliminary rounds in the ‘Bands & Singer-songwriters’ category, the finalists will be selected by the professional jury. The three finalists will compete in the final on Sunday 15 November at MEZZ for the title ‘Grote Prijs Breda 2026’.
The prize package includes various performances in Breda, a €1,000 cash prize, a fantastic award, two free rehearsals at Phoenix, two free rehearsals at Sound Dog and professional guidance for six months.
