Dr. Masharu is an earth-eater, earth enthusiast and founder of the Museum of Edible Earth – a traveling and online archive with more than 500 samples of earth from 40 countries. Their work combines science with personal and cultural practices. Through installations, workshops and performances – such as Compost as Superfood – they invite the audience not only to think about earth but also to taste and experience it.Platform DIS is an interdisciplinary art and research platform from Nijmegen. It brings together artists, scientists, farmers and others around ecological issues. Their project FRUITING BODIES is building a network of artist residencies on regenerative farms. In this way, they promote collaboration and place-based research between farmers, artists and more-than-human life.

In recent years, Dr. Masharu and Platform DIS have been exploring how people can reconnect with the soil and soil life. Clublokaal invites them to share their projects: Compost as Superfood (Dr. Masharu) and FRUITING BODIES (Platform DIS, Helen Weeres & Ibo Ibelings).
