A seemingly peaceful little village where life quietly flows and the factory in the background breathes along with the rhythm of the day. Everything seems peaceful – until a bird crashes from the sky. What begins as a small incident escalates into a sinister story.

In this new performance of 'the southern land' children take the floor and address the audience, the adults. In an disarming and confronting manner, they lead you into a fantastical story about the decline of Happy Valley. They are supported by actor Peter Vandemeulebroecke, who brings various villagers, and even a stray dog, to life.

Together, they playfully build a world full of questions that is on the brink of bursting. Because honesty is easy… until it gets tough.
