On Sunday, 16 November 2025, the OSO Symphony Orchestra will present the concert From Symphony to Pavane at the Meeting Centre De Vlieren in Breda. The audience will be treated to a rich and varied programme featuring French symphonic music, spanning over a century of compositions. From the subtle elegance of Ravel to the powerful drama of Méhul: each piece highlights a different facet of the French musical tradition.

The OSO Symphony Orchestra, founded in 1988, consists of approximately 40 enthusiastic amateur musicians. Under the leadership of conductor Carlo Nabbe, the orchestra performs both classical and contemporary symphonic works.

  • Gabriel Fauré – Masques et Bergamasques Suite, op. 112
  • Georges Bizet – L’Arlésienne Suite No. 1
  • Etienne Méhul – Symphony No. 1 in G minor
