Open Evening * Pub Quiz @Beest Boulders Breda

On Friday 28 November, Beest Boulders Breda opens its doors to everyone curious about the world of bouldering. Between 18:00 and 23:00, you can try out this accessible and challenging sport for just £5. This amount includes entry, rental shoes, a short introduction, and – if you wish – participation in workshops and a fun pub quiz.

What is bouldering?
Bouldering is a form of climbing up to a maximum height of 4.5 metres, without a harness, but with thick crash mats for a safe landing. It is low threshold and suitable for everyone: from curious beginners to experienced climbers. You do not need a course to get started.

Beest Boulders Breda, with over 3,600 m², is the largest bouldering gym in the Benelux. You will find hundreds of climbing routes at every level, an extensive training area, and a cosy hospitality venue. Whether you are climbing for the first time or looking for a new challenge – you will never run out of routes here.

What can you expect?
Upon entering, register at the bar. New visitors receive a brief introduction from an instructor, explaining the basic principles, house rules, and safety. Throughout the evening, instructors will be present in the hall to guide you and give tips to improve your technique.

Pub quiz
At 20:30, the pub quiz begins. Form a team of 2 to 5 people and join a fun quiz full of general knowledge, current affairs, music questions, and a few climbing-related puzzles. Participation is free.
