Dance company The100Hands explores everyday actions and interactions in their performances that are meaningful of our way of (co)life.
This time, three dancers attempt to leave through a playing field of doors - but whatever they try, they always end up back together and with the audience, because does leaving really exist or is it just a notion we tell ourselves? Without saying a word, but through movement, humour and interaction, they explore this together with you.
Afterwards, there will be an informal discussion led by creator Jasper Džuki Jelen on the theme.
Open Deur Breda is a precursor to the larger performance ‘Waar je uitkomt als je weggaat’, which will be shown later this year in the city.
The100Hands
Founded by Mojra Vogelnik Škerlj (performer/dramaturg) and Jasper Džuki Jelen (dance maker/therapist), The100Hands works with an international cast of dancers who have personal experiences with ‘leaving and returning’.
