Open Day Bredase Candle Factory

On Sunday 14 December, the Breda Candle Factory proudly opens its doors to the public. Between 10:30 and 16:30, everyone is warmly welcome to take a look behind the scenes of this unique artisanal factory.

After a few quiet years, this popular open day is back in December. The setup is smaller than before and some traditional elements are missing, but the core of the tradition remains intact: enjoying craftsmanship, warmth, and atmosphere during the dark days of December.

Visitors can experience the production up close and, of course, buy the most beautiful candles for the festive season. There is also a special activity for children: they can dip candles themselves for a small fee and take their own creation home – an unforgettable experience full of light and colour.

A part of the proceeds will go to Stichting Woonvorm Bavel, so that the light of the Breda Candle Factory shines beyond just within the factory walls.
