The Archaeological Depot of the municipality of Breda is opening its doors wide open on Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 June! Remarkable, because normally you wouldn’t just walk in here. At the depot on Riethil, a wide variety of soil treasures are stored, finds that have been discovered in and around Breda over the past few decades. You can explore on your own initiative, sign up for a guided tour, or join a workshop!
 
Throughout the weekend, there are guided tours for adults and children (6 to 12 years old). 
There are also fun free workshops you can join during the weekend. You need to register first for the guided tours. 
 On Saturday 14 June, you will learn how to make a medieval-style leather pouch. And on Sunday 15 June, you can make your own Roman oil lamp! On both days, you can make a badge (brooch) or magnet from real archaeological sherds, and there is a Minecraft demonstration. Or come and help solve puzzles and stick things together! 

In short: plenty to experience at the depot! Join one of the workshops and go home with a unique keepsake.
