Nienke Leone in MEZZ

After releasing her EP Wegwerpliefde, Nienke Leone embarks on her first tour as the main act. Her shows are filled with energy and enthusiasm. She creates honest pop music inspired by artists such as Typhoon and Julia Michaels.

Nienke sings about things she finds difficult to say. Her songs are cheerful, quickly stick in your mind, and are always sincere. During her performances, she shows that pop music can be both accessible and personal.

Before releasing her own music, Nienke had already written for well-known artists such as Emma Heesters, Zoë Livay, Miss Montreal, and Yves Berendse. With the song Spijt is voor Later from the film Gooische Vrouwen, she scored a number 1 hit on Spotify and won a Buma NL Award.

In 2024, her first EP was released. Since then, she has played 25 shows during the Popronde and appeared as the supporting act for Krezip, Hiigo, and Ruben Annink.
